Matt's Sacrifice

The gang from Shakesploitation II has become quite a family, Share and Shale alike is the motto, after the cut a bitch thing..... The cast in a way has adopted the ideal that Iron Age presents in CITIZEN PAINE OR MARX IN SOHO, where we each owe a debt to out community and that we must live communally. Matt muses on the results of this lifestyle as he have according to his ability and the case used according to their need. A Motto

So here begins a series from the Plays and Players preview performance. I left them alone with the web cam in their dressing room and things seem to have gotten out of control. Well, live and learn.

An Old Friend Visits

A message from Jerry Rudasill, who stopped by Shakesploitation rehearsal to shoot a cameo video for Shakesploitation II. He is performing in The Brothers Flannigan at Fergie's pub during the Fringe Festival! Since he could not be with us physically , we have a special treat during the Shakesploitation performances for all you Rudasill fans out there.

Cracked out Trina, another favorite from Shakesploitation One, stopped by Iron Age Theatre to wish the new cast the best with Shakesploitation II at the Fringe but, as usual, because distracted.

Shakesploitation Honors Gabby Hayes

Regionally respected actor Steve Hatzai shares some insight into his critically acclaimed performance a the gravedigger in Romeo And Juliet Apocalypse from Shakespoitation I. Hatzai takes a moment to honor the memory of one of his dramatic influence. We miss Steve this year. He is part of the Brothers Flannigan also performed at the Fringe this year. Be sure to see Shakesploitation II Iambic Boogaloo at 941 Theatre for a cameo by Steve and also check out his production.
